The students of Gaia Ceramics School, had the oportunity to participate in a raku technique seminar.
The seminar took place at the specialised raku workshop owned by the distinguished ceramist Giota Alexiou, where the participants put the ceramics they made through the process of raku glazing and firing, which produced extraordinary results.
A two day seminar has taken place in Gaia Workshop, with the talented ceramist Argiro Kosta, who has great experience on a pottery wheel. It was a great opportunity for beginners to learn and practice various techniques on a pottery wheel.
An alternative seminar has taken place, at a very special location, where people enjoy therapeutic mud baths.
Working out in the open natural environment, we learned about imprints on clay using natural elements, and we got in touch with the therapeutic mud/clay.
Alongside Nestos river which is a natural place with rear beauty, we organised an inspiring seminar for beginners, so that they can feel closer to the raw materials, earth/clay and water.
